Care and Love Creations

 Good afternoon everyone! It's been a week since my last post. This week I started quite the journey. I started running a childcare service so that I can work from home, this has been an amazing opportunity and I already have so many awesome kids! This has allowed me so much time to prioritize my home, my family, and have plenty of free time to help my dad. This has given me plenty of fun, and I am blessed to be given this opportunity. I hope you will all stay with me on this journey. 

 Somedays, motivation is lost on all of us. Now that I have started finding my way to normal again, I've seen it in countless of those around me, just no motivation to move forward, to do anything. One of the things I find helps motivation thrive is self-care, if you don't have time for yourself; make time. You won't regret how you feel when you are your best you. It may sound silly but Care and Love Creations is my, me time, it is the thing I can do that allows me to sit down and shut my brain off while I watch simple yarn, string fabric, beads, whatever it is I am working with at the moment turn into something beautiful and one of a kind. Others may find their me time by getting their nails done or taking a long bath. There is NO wrong way to seek me time. It also helps to remember that somewhere, there is always someone in your corner. Somewhere, someone is ready and willing to listen to you, this is important if your lack of Motivation is driven by a specific stressor. ...

 I'm sure I'm not the first or the last to tell you all that life is tough. Honestly there are so many bumps on our paths somedays it seems like there will never be any break for air. Honestly though, aside from a few rocky jarring motions this past week, I have never felt more at peace than I do now. Choosing to work from home, so that I can have time to prioritize my family, and still have time to help my father was always the goal, and after only a week and a half I can feel that it has made all the difference. I'm not supplementing my entire income with my business yet, and maybe I never will, but I am at peace and happy with what I have accomplished. After my first full week of giving it my all I have successfully made one sale, and received a custom order that I am excited to get started.   This impromptu post is brought to you by that bittersweet mother's day blues. The lady pictured above is my mother Kathy. This woman took me in, raised me, loved me, taught me more than I truly knew until it was far to late to recognize. Today, while I was doing the dishes, and thinking over how my mother's day could have gotten better, it hit me, this is the second year I haven't been able to spend Mother's Day with this wonderful woman. She was take from our family in 2022, and it was the most painful thing I have been through in my young life. As the last two years have gone on, I've slowly transitioned into bittersweet memories of my mother, and the things that brought her, and the rest of us that got to know her joy. Welcome everyone, this will be my first review of a pattern. It's a rather small, yet very stunning pattern by  Annemarie's Haakblog  I don't know the exact name of the pattern but it's called Crocheted Hearts and I located it using lovecrafts website and searching for free crochet patterns. Annemarie's simply three row pattern make a beautiful shaped heard about the size of my palm when using super saver yarn and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. Very easy to convert into a key chain or an applique to sew into a blanket or piece of clothing for that extra expression of love. They work up in under 10 minutes, and the limit is you. With no specified hook size, the hook of choice can match the yarn you choose. I can't wait for my chenille yarn to arrive to make some soft hearts and see how the pattern hold up.

 This is my first attempt at incorporating a blog into my business, that being said, I have tried to jump start my hobby into a business three times over now, and it seems that something in life always comes up. That's when I came to the decision and more importantly understanding that life will always come up, and "get in the way". So, what's changed? Me. I've finally decided I'm done sacrificing, and that I am going to knuckle down and make sure I stick to it this time. I've already revamped my facebook page and rebranded to Care and Love Creations from its previous title, and I am ready to rock. I have high hopes for my business this time around, and I look forward to sharing my challenges, and hopefully successes with all of you as time goes on.
